First Asia International Conference on Modelling & Simulation

Keynote Speaker
Prof Roy Crosbie

California State University

Submission deadline: 27 November 2006

Asia Modelling Symposium international conference aims to provide an excellent opportunity to share and exchange ideas about technologies and applications of intelligent systems modelling and simulation. The event should appeal to professionals, academics, industrial and business stakeholders worldwide. The conference will be held at the Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus, 27-30 March 2007. Thailand, the land of smiles, wishes to welcome you all with warm hospitality to AMS2007.

Papers are invited on any aspect of modelling and simulation for intelligent systems. Dealing with complexity often involves the use of intelligent and adaptive design methods.  New paradigms in computational intelligence, neural networks, hybrid nets, connectionist systems, evolutionary algorithms and fuzzy systems are being explored by designers, implementers and managers to improve understanding, evaluation and assessment of such systems. Modelling and Simulation techniques provide fundamental support at all stages of the life cycle in application areas such as industry, business, energy, transport and the environment. The conference aims to explore the impact of modelling and simulation on intelligent systems design and applications including but not limited to:

Energy, Power Generation and Distribution

Internet Modelling, Semantic Web and Ontologies

Distributed Systems and Networks

Performance Engineering of Computer & Communication Systems

Computer Games and Simulation
