Asia
Modelling Symposium international conference aims to provide an excellent opportunity
to share and exchange technologies and applications in the modelling and
simulation fields for professionals, engineers, academics and industrial
people worldwide. The
conference will be held at the Prince of Songkla University, Phuket Campus,
from 27 to 30 March 2007. For participants starting their trip in the UK, the
conference organizers are preparing a 10 day travel and accommodation package
to include 3 days in Bangkok and 7 days in Phuket, details will be made
available on this website in due course,- if you wish to take advantage of
this package please email david.al-dabass@ntu.ac.uk. Thailand, the land of
smiles, wishes to welcome you all with warm hospitality to AMS2007. |

The First Asia International
Conference on Modelling and Simulation will be held in Phuket, Thailand, at
Prince of Songkla University in conjunction with Thailand’s 11th
Annual National Symposium on Computational Science and Engineering (ANSCSE-11). Papers are
invited on any aspect of modelling and simulation for intelligent systems.
Dealing with complexity often involves the use of intelligent and adaptive
design methods. New paradigms in
computational intelligence, hybrid networks, connectionist systems,
evolutionary algorithms and fuzzy systems are being explored by designers,
implementers and managers to improve understanding, evaluation and assessment
of such systems. Modelling and Simulation techniques provide fundamental
support at all stages of the life cycle in application areas such as
industry, business, energy, transport and the environment. The
conference aims to explore the impact of modelling and simulation on intelligent
systems design and applications in the following tracks: Energy, Power Generation and Distribution Geographical Information Systems Internet Modelling, Semantic Web and
Ontologies Distributed Systems and Networks Performance Engineering of Computer
& Communication Systems Computer Games and Simulation Intelligent Systems Vision and Visualization Systems Transport, Logistics, Harbour, Shipping and Marine

You are invited to submit: - two page summary (A4
format) for poster presentation, - proposal to organize a
technical session and/or workshop. Submissions must be
original, unpublished work containing new and interesting results that
demonstrate current research in all areas of intelligent systems modelling
and simulation and their applications in science, technology, business and
commerce. The proceedings of the Conference will be published by the IEEE
Computer Society. The conference is organised
by UK Simulation Society and is
co-sponsored by -
IEEE UK &RI
Computer Chapter -
EUROSIM -
European
Council for Modelling & Simulation -
Society for
Computer Simulation Int. (SCS)- Europe. Submission
implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and
present the paper. All papers are to be submitted electronically,- see full
instructions under Registration
below, in PDF or Word format. All papers
will be peer reviewed by at least three independent referees of the
international program committee of AMS2007. Paper Submission: AMS2007 is using EDAS for submission and
registration, authors need to: - create an account with
EDAS by clicking on the link below - open the list of
conferences managed by EDAS & find AMS2007 - click on Submit button on
the right to enter your paper title & abstract - upload file. Proposals
to organise sessions: email Sessions
Authors
of the best papers will be invited to revise and extend their work for publication
